The thing is the Washington Post "suggested" none of these women were Democrats or worked for them. That is not correct. How accurate is the rest of this story?

One of Roy Moore's accusers worked as interpreter for Hillary Clinton campaign | AL.com

One of the women who said Senate candidate Roy Moore pursued her while she was in high school worked for Hillary Clinton's campaign as a sign language interpreter, according to videos and documents posted online...

Of course it suspicious to them.

They know this is a smear job and they are perfectly OK with it.

These extremist also know the Left cannot win elections on the issues and the only way they can win is through smear or fraud.

That's how it works. People don't come forward and journalists don't investigate people as much when they're not in the national public eye because otherwise it's a local or regional story that no one cares about. Moore's name has become more prominent in the last year. Then the primary became a national story, especially once Trump involved himself in it.

Let's use your logic and argument though. Do you think it's suspicious that all the stories about Bill Clinton's sexual history came out right before the election? Even the stuff from the 70's and 80's? Why didn't it come out before? Do you think all of that was a suspiciously timed smear campaign?
    Thanks from Babba and HayJenn

I don't think anyone outside leftist extremist believe anything the WaPo post.

The voters in AL certainly don't appear to believe fake news sites like WaPo.

Certainly. Look at Anthony Weiner. Democrats get rid of pedophiles. Republicans defend their's.

There was evidence against Weiner and a conviction that he pleaded guilty to.

Where is the evidence of Moore doing anything wrong?

The woman he "dated". Of course, Women are always suspect when they make allegations against men. And you wonder why so few sexual assaults are reported.

They see it as a man standing up for his principles and they appreciate that in him.

Now, you can say whatever you want about those principles, I'm just telling you what the voters in Alabama are saying.
I know a little bit about Alabama voters. I lived about 30 miles from Alabama when I lived in Tennessee. I also remember George Wallace. Roy Moore and George Wallace share a lot of similar beliefs.

Hopefully the pressure will be too great for Moore and the Alabama republican's to endure and Moore will step aside.

Interesting theory. Juanita Broaddrick's story came out in 1990 originally. Then in 1997 she was approached by the investigators in the Paula Jones case. She refused to be involved in it saying that she didn't want to relive it but was subpoenaed. That timeline seems credible when you look at the events. Then of course, there is the fact that Clinton settled the lawsuit with Paula Jones AFTER it was clear that he had committed perjury. I also wouldn't have believed Monica Lewinsky right up until the blue dress came out. She seemed like someone looking for fame.
