Is political ideology more important than sexual harrassment or assault?

I find this to be strange and alarming... so a company pulls ads from a show due to sexual misconduct and somehow they are the badguys? What the fuck happened to the family values party?

The family values party? You mean the one that elected the first divorcee to the presidency back in 1980? The one that reelected David Vitter and Mark Sanford after their diaper pooping with prostitutes and international affairs were exposed? That family values party? The one that voted in a narcissistic, foul mouthed, moron with two ex-wives and a porn star for his current wife as President?

Nothing happened to them. They're still the same dishonest hypocrites they've always been.

Party loyalists are extremely abundant in this country. Party loyalty requires hypocrisy and denial.

From my perspective, the specific answer to the topic question is, yes. But such is nothing new in our political arena. During my lifetime, it was suspected during the Kennedy administration, most assuredly during the Clinton administration and continues with the Trump administration. Political agenda overrides.

For a great many, it does. The loyalty is virtually unbreakable. The left wing has oodles like this too.

There is loyalty like this at the highest levels of government too. You know what aides and staffers and up and coming politicians get in return for absolute unquestioning loyalty? Security, money, power, favors. It is currency.
    Thanks from Madeline

Simple rule of thumb: If a Republican does it, it is OKAY! And rally the troops around 'him'!

If this is not true, explain to me why Anthony Weiner is in jail?? Or did he lie to the FEDS??

There should be jail time handed out for being a sycophant. Our system rewards a lot of things we claim we do not admire, doesn't it?

Why would you bother specifying one "wing" or another? Oh, right...

    Partisanship is understandable.

Just don't claim to give a crap about family values or protecting young women from creeps if you support Trump or Moore.

And don't blame Clinton for Trump. Trump could have been stopped before he got the nomination if the GOP cared about family values or protecting young women from predators. Same with Moore. No excuse for those two people to rise to the top, if the GOP actually supported what they claim to be their traditional values.

They are not the family values party, they are the AMerican Taliban party. The white nationalist party, the bigot party, the ignorant party. They don't even hide it anymore

Sick. Trump doesn't deserve his name in the same sentence with those 2 presidents
