That happens when people don't knuckle under and march in lockstep with the extremists.

You don't have to agree with the man's politics but you got to respect at least he drew the line at child molesters. How sad is it that we can't say that about the US President and the GOP in general?
    Thanks from Friday13 and Panzareta

The "Party over Country" Roy Moore defenders swarming this board right now are going to point at how this is an example of why it's a good thing that Flake isn't running again. I'd counter that this is an example of the kind of people needed in public office. Those not afraid to do what's right even when it goes against their own party.
Thanx @boontito. I posted this earlier in the bowels of another thread. We also need to elect MORE WOMEN to office...Obama thinks so, too...

Obama: We need to elect more women because men seem to be having problems
    ...
"Not to generalize but women seem to have a better capacity than men do, partly because of their socialization," Obama added, according to AFP.

I respect him more for leaving the Senate and not seeking re-election.

Not that he stood a chance in hell of winning again but, it's always a good thing when swamp critters willingly leave the swamp.

Party over country is not "winning."

Trust me, I'm loyal to my country, John.....hell, I'm loyal to you and you think I'm a traitor! Doesn't matter to me, my vote is always for the truth and neither do I pick my friends due to political affiliation. This helps me sleep at night.
