GOP Senator Jeff Flake Makes Anti Roy Moore Statement With Personal Check

Republican Sen. Jeff Flake, who's been adamantly opposed to Republican Alabama Senate hopeful Roy Moore, posted a photo Tuesday of a check with his signature on it that was addressed to Moore's Democratic rival, Doug Jones.

Flake's Twitter account posted the image of the $100 check along with the caption, "Country over Party."

The "Party over Country" Roy Moore defenders swarming this board right now are going to point at how this is an example of why it's a good thing that Flake isn't running again. I'd counter that this is an example of the kind of people needed in public office. Those not afraid to do what's right even when it goes against their own party.

Well that's great and everything but still he and McCain voted for the horrible GOP tax bills

Which will effect EVERYONE in this country.

But I guess it's a good thing he doesn't at least support a child molester.

It's amazing how far the bar has been lowered in that respect.

Flake isn't letting his politics decide his morals completely.
