Pretty much. It doesn't get any slimier or stink any worse than Child Molesters and Men that brag and admit to Sexually Assaulting women.

You still have the image of Franken mock groping a woman's breast in your head but have no problem with 32 year old's molesting little girls.

He resigned, get over it. Suck up the rest.

I would have done that long ago, when I was young enough.

I understand that. I support him stepping down.

That's the thing. I don't care if right vs. wrong works in Dems favor... or Pubs favor. It's the right thing to do and beyond that... people with an agenda that doesn't fit with that... meh, not really interested in their point of view.

The Democrats now will have 26 Senate seats up in 2018 compared to the Republicans 8. Talk about spreading a little thin.

As I thought about this today, I was thinking about sales and the world of big ticket sales, huge deals that end up being won by those who never give up and play hardball in every direction. Democrats do not play hardball. We seem to elect these passive aggressive types who believe in fairness and play by rules taught our children but never really practiced by adults. If I were running the Senate, I would have got every Democratic Senator in a room and told them this is how we are going to play this game. First and foremost, the high road in politics gets you nothing anymore. The only thing that matters to the GOP is winning and we have to admit it because we are like little pansies getting pushed around the sandbox by older kids. So what should have been the strategy?

    1. The charges against Franken are to be taken seriously just as the charges against Trump and Moore should be taken seriously.
    2. As long as Trump is POTUS and the GOP supports Moore, there is no way we are going to be the only party to force a resignation.
    3. When the GOP leaders state that they will not seat Moore should he win, we listen to their complaints about Franken.
    4. When the GOP leaders state that President Trumps accusers should be heard in a full senate hearing, we will consider their complaints about Franken.
    5. When both Trump and Moore are thrown out of office, we will force Franken to resign.
    6. Until then, Franken stays in the Senate.

If the women of the nation who voted for Trump do not demand his resignation and the women of Alabama vote for Moore, then that is a sign they don't care about this behavior. We do care but we will let it be decided by the voters of Minnesota. Until then, we are not going to be first, that is for the GOP to do in order to prove they are the party of women. They are in power, they can choose.

    and sexual assault are overlooked?

Stupid, stupid Democrats. Republicans have had their sites on Franken forever...
...because he's REALLY good at his job and admired by ALL Democrats.

I'm beside myself and woe be the next volunteer calling for $$$.
    They'll get an earful.
Yeah, because they should have perpetuated the hypocrisy that some men are so valuable, their offenses must be excused no matter how egregious.

Naw, @OHjulie is correct about the bad motives involved here. The corporate Democrats could not resist the chance to eliminate another Bernie-esque progressive candidate.

Nonetheless, they did the right thing.
