It entails obstructing a criminal investigation with a corrupt purpose.

Just a sample. Bobby three sticks indeed.
In a long career, everyone will make mistakes. What are you saying about Mueller? What motivation does he have to act improperly in this case?

They have nothing, so they are trying to catch him in a misstatement of fact. Trump forgets what he said 10 minutes after he says it, so he does not want to be in a closed room with a bunch of lawyers bent on his destruction. I am assuming that the interview with the vampire (Mueller) is a worse option that appearing in front of a grand jury. Cue the process crime dancers!

There is nothing improper about looking for crimes, even if you have to create them! He's a lawyer.

Two important facts you need to take into your consideration in your attempts to smear Comey and Mueller.

A] Comey and Mueller are not heroes. Both Democrats and Republicans in Washington DC who know both Comey and Mueller praised their careers in public service.

That is in drastic contrast to the attempt by Trump Inc and Trump supporters to characterize both men as bums.

B] Mueller does not work for the FBI. Mueller is retired.

Meuller was chosen by the Department of Justice to head the Government's investigation into Russia meddling into the US 2016 election; based on his career.

Why on earth would Trump supporters have any problem with Mueller investigating Russia's role in attempting to have an impact on American elections? Mind-boggling.

You have an odd understanding of what Mueller is investigating.

It is not Mueller to make up crimes or charges. It is Mueller's task to provide a report to the DOJ and Congress as to what the DOJ has asked Mueller to investigate.

It is the DOJ that sends the recommendation of the Special Counsel to a grand jury.

The DOJ can not make up and prosecute crimes that do not exist.

All the lawyers I have heard from say that if Mueller has anything on Trump, snaring him in a misstatement in a private interview is highly likely.

I look forward to the Mueller report on how the Obama administration did or did not do its best to stop the Russian meddling.

If Mueller has information of wrong-doing by Trump...how should Mueller ask his questions of Trump not to...'ensnare' Trump?

    How would that be done...exactly?

Morning Joe this morning is speculating that Mueller might agree to allow Trump to testify not under oath.
I don't really understand how this would work?

    Either:
Mueller's team is ok with giving Trump permission and a venue to further lie...

    Or

Mueller knows that it is still a crime to lie to a grand jury in front of federal agents.....regardless of being sworn..

Trump's lawyers know this so I don't see how Trump could lie without legal peril?
