No, sorry.. i really don't get your point.

The news reporting on what has happened, and in doing so using the same language that was used by the initial incident that's been reported on ... i do NOT have an issue with that.

And i don't think that it would be bad even IF kids were watching. I was a kid.. i know what language was used by our parents, how we were not allowed to use profane language, and how we used it all the time in a safe (adult-free) environment. It's possible to become a decent human being with manners even IF one is exposed to profane language as a kid.. i've been there, you can trust me on that.

Nobody should censor anything the President says. I know under Obama everyone became all sensitive and whiney but we should go back to the way things were. If someone's offended...change the channel. Glad we're on the same page

When children have to be shielded from the words that come out of the mouth of a President while he is sitting around a table with members of the Senate and Congress doing the people’s business, the problem is not the media’s reporting on it verbatim. The problem is the Presidents naked racism and the problem is the people that support him. To remain under the GOP banner means sadly you are a rascist sympathizer. The woman who called out the President wanting an apology has to cross the aisle or declare herself an Independent . Enough already, saying bad boy and them back to business as usual just doesn't cut it anymore.

I get that and I agree to an extent. But I also see watchman's point. We complain on here every single day how Trump is awful and how he says terrible things. Do we really want to lower ourselves to that? Tell the story and move on. But the continued use of the word over and over is like they are getting their jollies out of it. Its meaningless now. Instead of saying "he said this, how terrible this is and now he lies about it" has turned to "look we are showing how bad he is by being just as bad." There has to be some happy medium where they can report a story without going in the gutter with him. "When they go low, we go high" and all that. Not "we are all in the gutter together here."

I'm pretty sure you're NOT on the same page with JF.. not even at the same book.

    But you know that already.

when they go low.. that was Michelle Obama.. speaking for the DEMS, not for the press / media.
The press/ media should NOT - at any time - take up anyone's POLITICAL mantra.. neither should they have to "go high" when the White House goes low.

The press is not a "counter weight" to the administration, that "balances" their shit (excuse my language) out for them.

As for the overall stupidity of the Trump reporting by the media, 24/7 keeping him in the headlights, with every fart his brain or ass produces.. agreed that this is counter productive. But that goes for the media's approach to Trump 7 days a week, all day long, and not ONLY when they report on a profanity. IMO.

I prefer they use the profanity rather than gloss over it by saying "s-hole" or some other nonsense. Truth matters more than people's sensitivity.

I also think Americans should have to look at gruesome war photos, too. We are too sheltered from reality as it is and IMO it's not healthy.

this is all just more bullshit. Again, you know damned well what I'm talking about. As a society it is not the norm to have the word "shit hole" plastered up on the television screen. It's not the norm to have a network using profanity all day.
