    Opinions on Fire and Fury

Has anyone here read the new book about President Trump? What did you think of it? Is Micheal Wolff a good writer? Is it worth buying or should I just wait for it to come to my local library?

When the author comes out and says that parts of the book may not be true, why would anyone believe ANY of it?

Wouldn't the book best be classified as fiction at your local library?

Of course, people will believe what they WANT to believe...

I think it would be an interesting read but personally I'm waiting for it to become available at the library.

    He didn't say that.

I don't read those kinds of political books. It's a waste of time, in my opinion. YOMV

That is the official Fox News talking point though.

Anything in that book not reported in the press is pure entertainment, and I have lots of other options for that. I'll read about it in the second draft...as history.

The author is well aware that enough people will buy it because they detest Trump and he knows he will make a lot of money in the process.

Does anyone write a book because they think no one will buy it? Dr. Johnson said "Only a blockhead writes for anything but money."

Same is true for everyone who writes anything expecting to sell it. There was no shortage of attack books about Obama or Democrats or whatever. And it's probably more profitable to write a book attacking Trump than...say...Mother Theresa.
