What sort of voting machine have you been using? The only thing I've ever put into a voting machine is a ballot. A secret ballot. No personal information whatsoever...

    Russians penetrated U.S. voter systems

    Why is that?
They are lying to an extreme... Like we aren't talking the kind of lies what trump does, where he says 10 and the correct answer is 11.

What you are describing isn't even a reasonable facsimile to reality... It's outright fabrication, about the only accurate facts are dates, and then everything else beyond that is misinformation, or outright false.

So, to even start corrections would require complete re write of the article.

The pronouncement sounds scary but means nothing. Russians also, along with every other hostile entity, certainly "penetrated" Hillary's private server full of classified emails, but that is of no apparent concern... That's kind of weird, isn't it?
Voter roles are public records. If you go down to the election office they will freely give you copy in electronic form. Campaigns get them and use them for mailings and marketing.

That's the way it works, apparently she has never voted.

    Debunked.
NBC News Russia Story Crumbles Under Scrutiny

"But this story merely repeats statements Manfra, a career employee who earlier had served in the Obama White House, made last June before a congressional committee and that the Associated Press did not report on until Sept. 22."

"In her remarks, Manfra was careful to say this was more a matter of Russians probing to get into the systems, that almost all their attempts had failed and that they targeted voter rolls and not tallying systems."

    Figures it was another fail...

Reading an article where every other fact presented is either twisted or completely false based on the evidence... I can't believe people would even have accepted that as serious.

I don't know what they will do when the facts become undeniable.

And I'm still waiting for you to demonstrate that vote tallies were in any way affected by alleged "Russian tampering".

The burden of proof is on those who claim something did happen. Proving something didn't happen is often impossible. But there should be evidence if something really did happen.

You should get some first hand information instead of relying on misinformation from partisan hacks.

The OP was about hackers browsing public information available for the asking.

Voting machines don't have voters personal information stored on them.

Voting machines can be hacked, but the hackers would have to get access to each individual voting machine, they aren't connected to any networks and kept locked up between elections.
    Thanks from pragmatic and bajisima
