    Boycotting Facebook

I have deactivated my account on Facebook and joined the boycott. I'm not seeing the cooperation what it could be in combating the Russian bots and propaganda on Facebook. Anybody else?

I have to stay on Facebook. It's how I keep connected with friends and family.

My sister married a Russian bot.

Propaganda is all around us. Has been for several years. You must decide what is and what isn't true based on your core beliefs and logic. Common sense is no good anymore cause very few have any sense let alone common.

You know, before "social media", we used to have these things called phones. Not for "selfies" or texting or, God forbid, "sexting", or a myriad of "apps"; but just for talking to each other

Not to mention people also used their legs to come to visit each other in person too lol

I have a computer, (obviously) but use email for family contact rather than "social media" I've never been on facebook. I don't really care what my nieces' cousin had for dinner. The dumb phone keeps me adequately in touch. (I can't even cope with texting) and we still have a landline, which is becoming rare here.
Thanks from The Man and Friday13

Maybe the solution is for everyone to use Facebook for that instead of as a news source.
