Exactly, they are free to choose who to put on air.

Just don't call it a "ban".

    A ban is censorship.

    Wrong.

The OP asks if the networks should BAN Kelly Ann Conway.

You make my point for me. No substance. All semantics. <yawn>

And, yes, there is a difference.

The word "ban" means not allowed.

The word "policy" is a much "kinder and gentler" word, dontcha think?

I don't care if they ban KAC, but if they do, just call it what it is: censorship.
So you would ban "ban." Right. That makes sense.

    Call it what it is.

If they are banning KAC then call it what it is: censorship.

A ban is censorship, plain and simple.

If I needed someone to split hairs, you would be at the top of my list. Banning someone from an interview because they lie isn't censorship, because they can send someone else to give the information.
the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security.
What is so funny about all of this, is your faux poutrage over KAC being "censored", yet I have not seen you bat an eye when Trump said
With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!
That is censorship. Learn the difference.

I understand and feel bad that he lost his Son. Such a terrible loss, but that does not justify him covering for Porter.

What really bothers me is the many without security clearance reading classified material.
if Kelly had run a military operation the way he runs the WH he would have been relieved of duty. There's no way he would tolerated that level of incompetence as a general. Card is another one that I wonder why they keep having on? I get that they're trying to provide balanced coverage. But, the comments you're referring to were completely disingenuous. What I found even more outrageous were his claims that the president has all the discretion here. Trump may be Kelly's immediate boss. But, ultimately he's a public servant and he works for the American people. Velshi and Rhule also let him get away with a double standard. Where he refused to allow for networks to report on what they feel is relevant. Claiming they report on this particular story "over and over". Even though, Trump is the one tweeting about it. While implying that Trump is essentially above public opinion with regards to what goes on in WH. You're right. There's not enough attention being paid to the fact that this WH seems to have an unusual amount of people working with only interim security clearances.

You can have your opinion, just like I can have mine.

And you can express your opinion, just like I can express mine.

    Ain't America great?

If a network wants to ban a person, then who cares?

Just call it what it really is.

Kelly Ann Conway has a long record of supporting woman's issues. I don't expect many of you libs to bite, but she was appalled at how this was handled as well as Trump. Trump may have defended the two cabinit memberes who resigned, but make no mistake -- Trump was appaled that a gaffe like this was allowed.

I do believe that Trump should have his chief of staff hold a press conference and explain what happened.
