The number would actually be far higher because the AR-15 is but one weapon on a list that the left wants to ban. Is this the issue that the Democrats are willing to make the 2018 elections about? Banning the AR-15 and other "assault weapons"? They need something beyond, they are not Trump.
    16 million cold dead hands?

No, that's not all it would take. Much tighter background checks and no instant checks. No sales of semi-auto weapons to anyone under 21. A voluntary buy back of all firearms. Stop telling us there is nothing we can do other than turning schools into heavily fortified and armed fortresses.

It’s gonna take multiple measures and decades to reduce the culture of gun violence in this country. The magic thing you are looking for does not exist.

If some weapon is outlawed, outstaning Americas would do their best to comply with the law. Law biding citizen take pride in doing so.

If the US...or better...the GOP US Congress would have kept the AR-15 ban in 2004, we would have less of a problem, but that is besides the point.

Here is the bottom line. one day AR-15s or other military assault weapons will be as common as a tommy guns.

How many people do you know have tommy guns?

The school killing in Virginia was done with two pistols. Ban them, too?

I do not know. Do you think that 8 million weapons would be easy for the government to collect?

And this is what you think would make the schools safe? You know we could make murder against the law at the same time. Maybe that would work.

Marco tried to make that...there are way to many out there...excuse to doing nothing.

If you never do anything...nothing ever gets done. That must be a Republican gene.
