It is a fun job...when mass slaughters are not happening. What sucks, is the conversation after a mass shooting and students are asking questions. You can't really tell them the truth because they would need mental health services after. The script that is given is useless because it says nothing. The truth is....in the US, a gun is more important than you are. I am beginning to think students are beginning to realize that now.

I can't renew my license plates without showing my ID, walking through a metal detector, and having my briefcase x-rayed. Is entering a school any less important?

And, all along here I was thinking it was individual Freedoms and Liberties.

    Who'd of thunk?

    Nope. I'm on board too!

But why do you want to protect the school shooter and make sure he has his choice of tools when he comes to kill those same kids out in front of the school next time?
    Thanks from Babba

What is important is that the liberals maintain a certain level of violence and tragedy to continue pushing their agenda.

    Do not be fooled.

The LEFT is NOT interested in protecting our children.

Laws only restrict what law abiding citizens will do and give us a way to punish those that break them. It doesn't stop anyone.

But hardening the school doesn't stop anyone from mowing those same kids down in front of the school, true?

I'm on board with hardening the schools. Is there anything at all that you're willing to do that would have any effect on the shooter's access to guns or possibly specific guns themselves though?

I'm willing to approach a solution with you from both inside and outside the school. You seem to only want to approach from one angle while protecting the shooter's interest on the other side.
    Thanks from Babba and Panzareta

That ship sailed....when we saw 23 children slaughtered in less than 6 minutes during Sandy Hook. Those kids, and others since, saw their freedoms and liberties disappear in less than 6 minutes.

I don't have to walk through a metal detector to renew my license, but I live in California. Also, I don't need a briefcase to renew my license, either, but I live in the real world.
