You are right... He called him rocket man to piss him off to create a situation where he threatened your country.

Then reminded him that the us also has an arsenal, one that doesn't need testing because it works.

The next day the diplomatic lines opened for the first time in decades.

A couple months later and Un is suing for peace. He knows now that the only way he survives is by giving up now.

It's seriously doubtful that he will betray at this point.

I know, the Nobel committee truly destroyed the reputation and significance of the Nobel peace prize. The science prize is similarly losing significance now that it's taking teams of scientists making discoveries above any individual.

Really? Because giving it to Henry Kissinger didn’t delegitimization it for you?

Fair enough... That happened before I was paying attention though.

Before you were paying attention? Then maybe you should shut up about it and stop making stupid comments if you aren’t familiar with the subject.

Ok, you're just lashing out because you couldn't counter my earlier points...

But, as much as I hate Kissinger, and the arguments used to give him that award.... There at least was something done to warrant it.

Actually, I didn't see your earlier points and I really don't care about them one way or the other. I just get annoyed when people ignorant of history somehow think Obama ruined the Nobel Peace Prize. And now, you've gone an looked up Kissinger and you think you're going to somehow Google your way out of the situation. You can't. Henry Kissinger is a war criminal. I suggest you back away from whatever stupid argument you think you are going to make, because I can assure you that, unlike you, I've been paying attention.

Obama did nothing (that I am aware of) to the nobel committee, they've disgraced themselves.

I do not agree, Obama was the first US president to be realistic about the present position of the USA toward other powers which steadily are more and more present in the global internaitonal game. He tried to balance with soft power what could no more be reached with rough power. What happened then in the USA, Trump was elected and led policies which are destroying any possible US leadership possible and the prospects are very negative... Trump instead of solving his country problems decided to impersonate them for the sake of his own ego and the result is a lack of vision of the future... But can you build anything durable on contradictions ?

Trump, conpleteky unplanned and off the cuff, said “sure”. Throwing his administration into shock and chaos. Again.

To think of this as somehow of Trunps making is just plain ridiculous.

And yet a quick look at US news and voila.
That will weaken South Korea, and it could be a prelude to invasion from the North.
