That's Putin's Russia, essentially. You do not want that, believe me...
    Mr. Man,

It worked out well for Vlad Putin for the KGB to be independent, wot?

Fair enough. Also, its probably easier to think objectively on if and how to improve things, after we are no longer neck deep in all this drama.

True, and the Congress could also amend the Constitution to require that unicorn farts be bottled. Both are about equally possible.
I don't deny that. Also, unicorn farts are not as great as people say, so you can probably scratch that off your bucket list if you haven't already. Seriously, what good is a fart that only a virgin maiden can smell?

By they way, organizations like the Department of Energy, Department of Education, Department of Defense, the EPA, Department of the Interior, Department of State, Department of Health and Human Services, etc., etc. also did not exist when the Constitution was written and ratified.
Yes, and more reason that if we had a functional congress, we might really look at what amendments would make sense.
    Thanks from Friday13

How weird will a slow news day/week feel if we ever encounter one again?
    Thanks from Chief

    Am feeling your pain.

Some of the unprecedented/cartoonish behaviors of The Donald are making us rethink procedures that we used to take for granted.

But hopefully this will pass and a sense of normalcy will soon return....
