I don't hate Obama, just wish he had been more of an advocate for Christians then damaging them. Trump is doing what Obama didn't do, so I'm ok now

Your hatred is derived from ignorance.
Muslims are very strict about their children being Muslim. If Obama said he was a Christian in a Muslim country he would have been put to death since he was born Muslim.

Just recently read someone who said that a sense of humor is the best defense against fanaticism, and aboutenough seems to be lacking in that department, sure enough.
    Thanks from Hollywood

The Hanbali scholar Ibn Qudaamah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The child follows his parents in both realms (i.e., this world and the hereafter). If the parents are of different religions, then he must follow the one who is Muslim, such as the child of a Muslim man from a kitaabi (i.e., Jewish or Christian) woman. End quote from al-Mughni, 10/91. https://islamqa.info/en/165492 This is the way of the Muslims. The child born to a Muslim parent must follow the Muslim religion. There is no choice of which religion to follow.

But why would a Christian who was born of Muslim parents be required to follow the rules of a religion that is not his own? What verse in the Christian bible requires a Christian to follow the rules of Islam?

Its the rules for Muslim children born from one or more Muslim parents. No opinion will change that. Actually a Muslim child that later converts to another religion could be put to death in a Muslim country. If you don't believe it watch what happens in Iran.
Saeed Abedini (Persian: سعيد عابدينی‎, born 7 May 1980) is an Iranian American Christian pastor who was imprisoned in Iran for threatening “national security” by making Christian gatherings.[1] On January 16, 2016, he was released from prison with 2 other American prisoners. Abedini, a naturalized American citizen, reportedly has dual-citizenship, with the US and Iran. Iran, however, does not recognize his American citizenship.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saeed_Abedini
Abedini is an American and a former Muslim who converted to Christianity in 2000.[2][3] While Christianity is recognized as a minority religion under the Iranian constitution,[4] Muslim converts to Christianity suffer discrimination at the hands of Iranian authorities. In particular, such converts are disallowed from worshipping with other Christians in established Christian churches, which has led to the establishment of so-called "house" or "underground" churches where these converts can worship together.[5]

But why do you require a Christian to follow the principles of Islam?

Fuck those rules. Barack's mother ignored any such rule, Barack himself ignored any such rule, most Americans ignore that rule. Probably because the vast majority don't even know it exists.
Soooo, fuck that stupid ass rule you keep ranting about.
    There, problem/issue resolved.
    You're welcome.
