    Heh. I had a great-grandmother who lived to the ripe old age of 111. People in her hometown sincerely and genuinely thought she was a witch. No exaggeration. She was a widow for almost 60 years, and a lot of people thereabouts figured she had poisoned her husband. I only met her once, and she SNAPPED at me, her own great grandson. We heard a story that she once tried to throw boiling water on a group of school children that were cutting across her lawn, by tossing it our her kitchen window. No kidding! Folks said she lived to be 111 out of sheer spite! She seemed to hate everyone!

    The people who've been raising boys into men of God? You're against them, in spite of all the good works they've done?

Then the kiddos would lose out being able to join.
    I don't think anything operational about scouting is going to change much.

    I was once a Boy Scout myself. Times are changing and they are going downhill fast.
    Scout Oath, Law, Motto, Slogan, and The Outdoor Code
    The Scout Oath for the BSA developed from the original version by Lord Baden-Powell, the main difference was that the second line stated that "I will do my duty to God and the King." The Scout Law for the Boy Scouts of America was originally adopted in 1910. By 1911 it was adjusted to what it is today. The original version by Lord Baden-Powell had only 10 points to the Scout Law (the eleventh and twelfth of the BSA version were added when the BSA was founded).

    Scout Oath
    On my honor, I will do my best
    To do my duty to God and my country;
    To obey the Scout Law;
    To help other people at all times;
    To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

    Scout Law
    A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

    Scout Motto
    Be Prepared

    Scout Slogan
    Do a good turn daily

    Outdoor Code
    As an American, I will do my best, to be clean in my outdoor manners, to be careful with fire, to be considerate in the outdoors, and to be conservation minded https://sites.google.com/site/bsatro...e-outdoor-code

    Cool story. Yeah, I was a scout too.

    Anyway... so you're against these people who've turned boys into men of God in the past?

    No, a little disappointed they are moving away from the original intent. Why do you think there numbers are down so much. They have caved to political pressure to have Gay leaders . You think those leaders will teach boys to honor God?

    Why wouldn't they? Divorcées do it. Gluttons do it. A scout leader need not be sin-free.
