You should do some research. Facebook has already admitted this was happening.
Sounds like you just want it to not be true.

Seems people are forgetting that Russia has been seeking to "stoke social, cultural and political unrest" in America since the beginning of the Cold War. You don't have to reach beyond that to some grand Manchurian Candidate conspiracy theory to explain why they probably loved the idea of Trump getting elected, they consider him an loose cannon, as do so many other people.

And the right believes Russian propaganda more than American Intelligence, how sad is that?

It is fact. Trump supporters are the only people who don't realize it. I think it's because it's a really nuanced concept and Trump supporters don't do nuance very well. What about the OP do you doubt? That the Russians placed all those ads? That people are influenced by ads? What, specifically, do you doubt?

Perhaps people doubt that Trump is an evil mastermind conspiring with the Kremlin to destroy America.

No one has forgotten that Russia has been using these tactics for many years. With technology though, they're much more effective.

Moscow never abandoned these tactics, which became known as “whataboutism,” even after the Soviet Union collapsed. Russian propaganda outlets like Russia Today—now known as RT—have always focused on domestic strife in the United States, be it homelessness or Occupy Wall Street or the Ferguson protests. The Facebook ads focusing on divisive issues like Black Lives Matter are just another page from the old Soviet handbook. The difference this time is that the Russians got better at penetrating the American discussions on these fraught subjects. They became a more effective bellows, amplifying the fire Americans built.

Oh, I know he isn't! And I don't think he did the conspiring. I know he's not bright enough. And the people around him are only slightly smarter. They actually didn't do a very good job of covering their tracks. I don't think Trump wants to destroy America. I think he's just too stupid to understand that many of the things he's doing is damaging us. His understanding and depth of knowledge about issues is incredibly shallow.
    Thanks from One and OldGaffer
