Low income and no income earners especially with kids pay next to nothing and likely get EIC to boot. Everyone else pays all the hidden taxes as well as get gored on local, county, state and federal taxes. Add in tax on property, some pay on vehicles, etc.
A third of American workers earn les than a 1968 minimum wage, how much income tax should they pay?

Well, when our GOP leaders enrich themselves and leave our children with a 1.5 trillion debt to pay back it isn't getting better under the GOP. They piss and moan about deficits when the Dems spend on social programs to help people less fortunate and then they give this gift to the 1%. (themselves) and they give a pittance of a break to Joe Sixpack which will disappear with the inflation that will come from tariffs and higher oil prices but serves to quell any blowback for their greed.

Great plan if you are not middle or lower income like the vast majority of Americans. They sold all this by labeling the money grab as a Middle Class Tax Break. Horse hooey!

And you Trumpers fell for it like you fall for every fuckin' lie that comes from the white house. Wake the fuck up!! Soon you'll have no healthcare at all, a lower standard of living and the world will see us as the fools we are for electing this band of thieves.

And your kids will have it even worse for all the mismanagement and abject greed of these con men.

Nonsense. I indicate that there is nothing to fear from these gutless & witless RW and YOU decide that indicates fear on my part?

Ah the old "the welfare folks are living high on the hog" line. What a crock of shit. It goes right along with my republican friends that say everyone is cheating the system except them. Never mind they go out of their way to avoid paying taxes and some even cheat on their taxes.

I know a few folks that have successfully gamed the system and don't work. Trouble is they have no money and can't afford anything. Live in old dilapitated trailers. Lot of good it's done them.

Except of course when that redistribution is going in the right direction, upward. So LOL all you want but the working poor are not amused by it. Friggin Trump sheep.
Lowering tax rates is the exact opposite of wealth redistribution.

Trump only holds rallies for 40% of the country, his base, well that, and to feed his ego.

Hillary's statement that Trumpster's are deplorable not only rings true for Trumpster's, but Trump himself. He has proven himself a Deplorable President. If you vote for a Deplorable, then yes, you are Deplorable.

Why, since that was NEVER the original intent of the income tax?

Did you somehow miss the point that when the income tax was first introduced, less than 5% of wage-earners were obligated to pay it?

Did you think that was the BOTTOM 5% of wage earners?
    Thanks from Ian Jeffrey

    Mr. Leroy,

LOL, so you're suggesting that we go back to the original intent? I mean, because the world never changes, right?
