Btw, Canada has been infected with that same mental illness.

The 2016 election was a binary choice. 2020 you can run another loser and hope your luck changes. Elections are about policy except in 2008 when it was about a historic demagogue.

It would make an interesting study to see if that is the beginning of a trend. I do see it with Sanders supporters too. Maybe this is going to catch on now with all politicians? Somebody said populist candidates are like this, they have devout followers to the end no matter what.

I have to say in regards to this, many republicans these days (probably since GW) have their sights set on the courts. They figure if they get the courts they get all the other stuff they want. Democrats tend to split their issues amongst many. Rarely do you hear them say "I voted for them for the courts." Its usually, min wage, healthcare, jobs etc. So its probably easier to fixate on that one item.

They may have a hearing issue so I suggest using a megaphone.

So say someone was an Obama supporter, was disillusioned after 8 years and now supports Trump, are you saying they're now totally different?
actually, I'm not even going to entertain approaching the argument that way. Either they question what they hear or they don't. Trump supporters don't appear to question what they hear. As long as he says it that's all they care about. Why are you even bringing up Obama or Hillary anyway? They aren't likely to be running for any public office any time soon.

Because supporters of Obama, Hillary, Carter, Nixon, Reagan etc.. have done the same. People do the same now and will do the same in the future.

If you feel people who support Trump are different, you lack basic psychology knowledge, unless you're doing it on purpose.
