Quite an incentive to improve your skills. Minimum wage is primarily for part time , people just starting out. So how does importing millions of low skill or no skill workers improve the situation?

PS Every penny earned for people making under $35k (or round about that) goes back into the economy IMMEDIATELY for goods and services.

    (That's an old # it's likely higher)
If prices for the services they provide get to high , people will stop using them. If going to Mc Donalds will cost 6-7 bucks for a cheap meal. They are history. Not that I would eat there . Mc Donalds is already using self serve ordering to eliminate man power.

Millions upon millions of Americans make around minimum wage. $7.45 is no better than $7.35 an hour.

When the GOP tries to lie...Democrats will always be there to say...YOU LIE!
Sounds like we need more low and no skill workers here . Lets import more.

This is why you see kiosks and automation. They are pricing people out of jobs. It makes it harder for students to get jobs

Lets just keep importing no skill workers, force a high minimum wage on business and I guess we will see how long business will last.

And there's a thread running saying 51 million can't afford the basics. Not working is it.

Why do we need more. Just acknowledge the legal ones we have now. It's the op that is attempting to see only a small segment of the total number of low wage workers and you refuse to acknowledge them.

Why are low wage legal workers such a threat to you and the OP?
    Thanks from Friday13
