And Donald Trump is closer to being a Fascist than he is to being a Republican. Sadly, not only did he become the candidate of the Republican Party but, thanks to some timely help from Vladimir Putin, he actually managed to win the Electoral College, and become the President of the United States, and has converted the Republican Party to Trumpism/Fascism, and the last few remaining dissidents are being purged from the Party as we speak. And you're A-OK with that.
Oh well, we have a chance to make things all better in another 2 1/2 years.

Lets get a decent, scandal free, moderate, Democrat who can actually tell the truth (as opposed to last time), who is not as dislikable, and see what happens.

Oh, and did I say MODERATE?

    No.

    No.

Three is your limit for today.
You're dancing more than Fred Astaire, you're just terrible at it. So, you agree that Trump is a nationalist, and exhibits a disdain for human rights. Those were items (1) and (2) on the list of Early Warning Signs of Fascism. Here are items (3) and (4):

    (3) Identification of enemies as a unifying cause

    (4) Supremacy of the military

Gosh, these are too easy. Trump very early on identified both Mexicans and Muslims as enemies for all Americans to focus on. Of course, he later expanded on his list of enemies to include such things as the Free Press (which he called 'the Enemy of the People', which would horrify Thomas Jefferson, who said he would rather have newspapers with no government, rather than the reverse) and NFL and NBA players. Mr. Trump has a lot of enemies, including our former allies. I guess Canadians are now supposed to be our enemies, even though we've always been pretty friendly with them, ever since they became a nation in 1867. Until Trump came along, that is.

And 'supremacy of the military'? Gosh! Surely you're not going to argue against that one! Trump has SAID, quote, "I'm the most militaristic guy around". He has bragged about the size and power of our nuclear arsenal, and how 'BIG' his 'Button' is. He has vowed that we would have the biggest nuclear arsenal on the planet, and has openly wondered why we can't USE our nuclear weapons, since they ARE our biggest and bestest weapons.

Is that going to make four out of four, for those first four items on the list of Early Warning Signs of Fascism for Donald Trump?

I would say so!!! How about YOU?

Hillary Clinton WAS a 'moderate'. She was a political CENTRIST. As opposed to Donald Trump, the fascist. You know, the President you say you now SUPPORT. Hillary Clinton was the ONLY candidate in the 2016 race, on EITHER side, who was presenting a fiscally SOUND program. Bernie's program would have spent us into oblivion. EVERY Republican candidate was proposing tax cuts that would explode the national debt. [Kasich was only marginally less worse than the others.]

There is little hope at this point
