    Always a Dem until 2016

I would like your opinion...civilly, of course. I have been a registered Dem and always voted that way. Then this past election I left the party. For the very first time! I was just so unhappy with Hillary...I didn't want any part of her or her Foundation. I had hoped for "a refreshing change." I am not sure just how refreshing that change has been! Surely, there are many mistakes, but I do not feel POTUS or the Republicans are ALL wrong as the left believes. I do know a lot of people did the same exact thing I did. In fact, I think the percentage of disgruntled, disappointed, frustrated Dems helped to bring Trump into office. I am seriously wondering just how the Democratic party can win myself back and the others? I still have the same values I always have had. I am truly not a Republican; but neither am I on the far left. I would like to hear your response.

I'm not a fan of extremists of any stripe. I don't think that the Democratic Party can do anything to attract voters who are fascinated by conspiracy theories without becoming what the Republican Party already is.

Yes, it seems both parties have been taken over by the more extreme elements. A move back closer to the center is what we need to see. Until that happens, neither party can count on my vote.

I think the Right has gone bananas with their worship of a conman and the Dems have got to dumb down their message and keep it simple.

Want your health care taken away?....let the GOP keep control of Congress on 11/6

(GOP is already gutting pre-existing condition enforcement)

What specifically do you see as extreme on the left...beside me of course.....but I have no power?
    Honest question.

I won't get into a laundry list here, but I've made it clear where we have our differences in other posts.

OK....I honestly don't remember them but I just don't see any real comparison between Trump Republicans calling some Nazis..."Good people" and Dems doing anything similar.

That was the GOP President who called Nazi's good people. What Dem leader has done similar evil?
That's just one example from hundreds of others.

Not voting for Hillary is survivable of the forum.

For gawd's sake never admit that you voted for The Donald.

And I didn't say they were the same.
But in the mean time, I am more aligned with the left in that we both see the danger trump presents to the country, and working to expose that danger. For now, that is enough.
