Fucking ludicrous that you look to the honesty of fucking criminals to know how bad the problem is.

It doesn't require a commission costing millions per year, it requires "no Id = no vote". Then you won't have dead people voting, you won't see cities with 100% voter turnout, etc... and in bonus, the numbers in fraud becomes the MAX not the MIN based on your studies.
Computers have solved most of the problems you are posting about.

Voter ID was never required to vote, just to register. Proof of residency was required in the form of mail with your name and address. Until recently.

If elections are being decided by fraudulent voters, why do we assume it wasn't happening in every election since the birth of elections?

I used my Ohio DL to get my BC. I used my other BC (the one I misplaced) to get my ODL. Seems like it goes in a big circle. Same with Everify. Faxed a copy of my ODL and SS card and got it. Aside from that they use a credit report. Which I don't have (until last year) because I don't believe in buying shit I can't afford.

Your railing about studies when I didn't even post links to them? Too funny.

And way to ignore the legal trouble Kobach finds himself in now.
Racist comment of the day right here... Minorities are incapable of handling complex tasks like identifying themselves so they need help of the white people who graciously allow them to vote in spite of their failures. I'm sure that's more eloquent than how you would state this kind of racist bigotry.

Psst.. I know the studies. You've posted them before.

How about the good old days where you grow your beard before Election Day and then vote as many times as you can change your beard?

The main argument I hear against requiring photo ID to vote is the claim that it disenfranchises the poor and disadvantaged. I don't see it unless the welfare and medical help doesn't require it and I can't believe that. Am I wrong?

In Canada the DMV equivalents aren't that few and far between and they offer photo ID for a reasonable fee, $35 in BC and $25 in Alberta. And if you are in need in some way, various government welfare offices can also issue them either at a subsidized cost or free on some basis I'm not familiar with.

Are things so different in the US that the poor are able to get welfare but not an ID?
I have voted in two States and both required a photo ID. You need a photo ID for just about everything...Medicaid and public assistance as well. You have a choice between a State ID or a DL. I can't even visit my Doctor without showing a photo ID for insurance fraud. They cost 8.50 in Ohio.
