The video clip didn't reflect smart at work.

Oh hell, Hillary Clinton was a Republican back when she was a student, but nobody would make the argument that she had a career as a Republican politician.

Likewise, few would consider Ronald Reagan a Democrat, simply because he supported Democrats prior to embarking upon his own political career.

A reasonable suspicion is that if Painter started to get any actual traction, the opposition party could/would flay him into little pieces in no time at all.

"Hates children, eats puppies, cheated on a 6th grade History test."

    "And he's a racist.....!!!".

Not picking on a party. Pretty standard modern day political warfare.

Doesn't matter. The Rock, Oprah, or Will Smith will be president in 2020.

I like painter a LOT. Sure, he could run with the motto: Drain Trump's Cesspool

It's possible he could beat the Dotard. He could maybe do primary as a "ticket" with another moderate Republican like Flake or Sasse.

The message would be - What do you want folks:

    Sanity or more Nutbar Kooky?
    Ethics or Corruption?
    Thoughtfulness or Impulsiveness?
Adult or 4th Grade Playground Bully?

    Could work

Ugh - Shingles is a bitch. Might be why he seemed grumpy at least up until recently.

Related: I did the Shingles vaccine couple of years ago. It was sold as cutting chances of Shingles in half. But now they have a NEW one that's 90%.

    Guess I better catch up.

I agree with Richard on Trump. He does not mince words, but he is a life long Republican in the Bush Administration.

I understand how you feel but I want a fresh, young Democrat in the WhiteHouse. Not in favor of Republican retreads.

BTW, McConnell was run out of a Louisville, Ky. Restaurant this weekend.
I would urge progressive protesters to cool it just a bit with this practice.

Nobody deserves to be heckled more than McTurtle, but do it outside - not inside restaurants and such.

LoL - He isn't what you'd call the life of the party ... a little stiff yeah. But that was a pretty funny ad nonetheless.
