That made about as much sense as Trump's latest tweet.

    Ok, I'll simplify it.

Trump was never going to change anything like that.

He stole the middle ground by saying he would consider reasonable restrictions. He advised democrats to put anything they wanted in a bill.

    Republicans panicked.

Democrats wet their lips and threw in every absurdity they could dream up.

Trump said "no deal". Like he planned to do and was able to because of how extreme the democrats wanted the changes.

Donald Trump was a Democrat like he is a true conservative now.

Trump is like "The Blob". It takes any shape that gets him down the road.
Yes, Trump is not a republican. He mirrored Bill Clinton campaign speeches some, nearly verbatim.

Actually, he got a lot of lines direct from Mussolini. Like that 'draining the swamp' line? That's a Mussolini original!
    Thanks from Panzareta and HenryPorter

At least that would be looking at ACTUAL fascist.

Drain the swamp was attributed as a line given to trump by Putin. Why the change of heart?

You red hats elected a liberal posing as a conservative. And you don't even care!
In a very real sense you're right. Neither Trump nor Hillary are small government conservatives.

Hillary (and bill) once pretended to represent the interests of the white working class, that's deplorables to you, before she (and bill) allowed corporations to export all those jobs to china. She, then jumped ship and tried to hijack Obama's base (that would be everybody but the white working class).

For whatever reason she couldn't convince a party fully half composed of minorities to vote for an old white woman. I see a bright future for Ocasio Cortez in the future Democratic Party.

That left Trump (a renegade Democrat) to come in and promise America's largest minority some support in exchange for votes.

It really is that simple. It's also that's why I didn't vote for either of these clowns.

Trump just picked them up and said vote for me and I'll not call you bitter clingers or even deplorable.

I didn't either for the reasons you mentioned. Once this trade war kicks in fully and the "deplorables" start paying double for shit, we'll see if they still cling to the orange shitgibbon.

The swamp is here to stay. Too much money in politics to ever drain it.

The white working class has no choice. It's either that or open borders and the continuing export of jobs promised by the globalists the Democratic Party represents.

California is the model one should look to for what the Liberal 9.9% have in mind for the U.S. You'll have to forgive me if I don't sign on for that.
