Some suggest Liberalism is a mental disorder

I have heard it said by Dr. Michael Savage that liberalism is a mental disorder. What do you think? I think there maybe be something to this. After all, Liberials tend to be a bit on the loony side. examples; Howard(the Duck) Dean, Barbara(Memories) Streisand, Cindy Sheehan, Teddy(the drunk)Kennedy, Cynthia (the Racist) McKinney, Ed (Lou Grant) Asner, and John (the trator) Murtha.

And neither "side" makes any sense, any more than they ever did. The beauty of the system, up until Americans fell asleep at the wheel and elected the same party to both houses of Congress and the White House, is that both sides cancel each other out, and we end up with that happy medium. America has never done well when either party controls both Congress and the White House. That's a fact.

It's a sick little joke played on us by the wealthy super elite to keep us busy bickering and drunk in the backseat while they drive our car, on our gas, with our money

This is interesting. I am a registered Democrat, yet I have been tagged so often as a liberal and lumped in with the likes of Randi Rhodes and Michael Moore. I do not hate anyone.
I am a moderate. But it seems that nearly (not ALL by any means!) everyone who speaks out against the Bush administration and its policies are automatically labeled "Liberal" and sometimes it feels no one is listening, we're just simply being judged, stereotyped, and written off as mentally ill, stupid, ignorant, and subjected to name-calling and putdowns.
I don't think conservatives, Republicans, Communists, or Muslims or whatever's different from me as bad, wrong, or mentally ill, etc. I feel it's a matter of what you believe, and it makes me proud to be an American because we can all voice our opinions, and I learn so much from these different opinions and different voices, and I feel it makes me a better American to take into account and think about these different opinions...and often have a better understanding of issues, and yes, even change my own beliefs and thoughts sometimes for the better.
Although the labels and the treatment I get sometimes bother me, it's a damn good thing to be here where we can all express ourselves! My gods, people, think about this -- if we were all alike, I think we'd be bored to death and learning and growing would honestly, simply, not happen.
