What are you, twelve?
I've been hearing about the terms restriction being lifted since the days of Reagan. Probably it was going on before .... maybe not, though. Not sure anyone wanted Eisenhower to re-up, and no one wanted Nixon to. Bet it started during Reagan. Heard it again when Clinton was Pres. Funny thing, didn't pop up during Bush the lesser's terms in office .
Just in the last 2 decades, legislation to repeal the term limits restriction has been introduced 21 times. The author of the current legislation has introduced it every two years, since 1997, including during when Bush 43 was in office.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/30/bu...2&pagewanted=2On March 12 Mr. Beck introduced the 9/12 Project, an initiative to reclaim the values and principles that he said were evident the day after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. On a special broadcast he asked: “What ever happened to the country that loved the underdog and stood up for the little guy?”
When it was suggested in an interview that he sometimes sounds like a preacher, he responded, “No. You’ve never met a more flawed guy than me.”
He added later: “I say on the air all time, ‘if you take what I say as gospel, you’re an idiot.’ ”
Here's a refresher:
Maybe because every time he spats out something that is a fact, he tells his viewers and listeners to look it up for themselves, because solely taking his world for something is idiotic. He'll say this every time he is on air.
