Assuming Obama, the Boy Wonder, manages a second term. My hope for the country is that at least the House stays in GOP hands, but hopeful to retake the Senate as well. Now, tolerating a second Obonghit term, I'm holding out hope for 2016. At that point, the Democrat have nobody and it will look great for the GOP, especially considering that there are already two strong possibilities I'm looking at: Chris Christie and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal. That may be one hell of a ticket

If Romney wins, then he'll no doubt be the Republican nominee in '16. If Obama wins, then the Republican nomination is up for grabs yet again.

I fully expect a panel of candidates similar to the ones we saw in 2012: Bachmann, Perry, Cain, McCain, in short geezers and nutters. Maybe there will be another Romney like candidate who actually has a shot at winning. Maybe he'll hide his liberal tendencies during the primary in order to get nominated, just like Romney did. Maybe this time around, the Republicans will actually win.

Or not. They could nominate the new Perry, in which case the next POTUS is anyone's guess, but the party winning the WH will be Democrat yet again.

2016 presidential race will be Hillary Clinton versus Jeb Bush.

Christie better take care of his health now. The stress of trying to rebuild a state after the superstorm Sandy and his weight are not a good combination for a future.

Jindal has been lackluster for Louisiana and the balloons floated for his possible involvement on a ticket were leaded down with his youthful exorcisms and his "are you my neighbor" blandness.

Wait 2016..you won't be locked away in some Dem socialist "conservative concentration camp" by then?
Or will you last just a day or two because you said you would take the cowards way out if Obama were to dare to win.

Any VP of Christie has to fear for their lives...they could be eaten.

Good. They both have guts and integrity, which is more than I can say for most of our Congressional weasels.

I may not always agree with their leftist views (snicker) but I respect them both as representatives and as opponents.

We really need to get over this partisan paradigm, it's preventing us from solving (or even talking about) some of the really important issues, like for instance corporate rights and the authority of the federal government to spend money it doesn't have.

What "coward's way out"? it's the only way to resolve your problem with opposition.
