How About Single Payer Instead Of ObamaCare?

Why are you cons so opposed to a comprehensive, equitable, and universal SINGLE PAYER healthcare system and instead choose to stand by an inneficient FOR PROFIT high cost illness management system that is so detrimental to our national economy?

What will make that more affordable? The Eurozone and Japan are drowning in a sea of red ink thanks to these generous social welfare programs, including single payer universal health care. What makes you think we will avoid their fate, should we choose to go down that road?

I would say largely because we Godless Commies on this side of the pond have a 'comprehensive, equitable, and universal single payer healthcare system'. Heaven forfend 'the Master Race' should emulate Die Untermenschen!

That, and the fact that some poor person might have his suffering alleviated on the public purse. That would never do - the penalty for poverty must be exacted, else the rascal multitude would grow so impertinent they might question their servitude. What is the cost of a few children dying from preventable disease, as against a reduction of insurance industry profits? Get your priorities in order.

Actually, their systems cost less than ours. So if they had our system they would be much more in debt than they are. Also, they're not all single-payer.

Kind of hard to find a job that pays enough in a nation that values shareholders and massive corporate profits over the prosperity of the working class.

We would have had it except for the lobbyists best friend, Max Baucus and Grassley, they both held the bill hostage until it was dropped!

Grassley then came out against the bill, and Baucus is leaving Congress! Watch who Baucus goes to work for,as soon as he can!
