Actually, they are here illegally. I know that you want to overlook it but they are in this country illegally. Just because there was an executive action that protected them from deportation and gave them work status didn't make them here any less illegally. The law is still the law.

please don't start with this bullshit about what you "know" about what I want to "overlook". You're just not making any sense. Fact. The executive order remains in effect. As you say, "the law is the law". Which makes it legal. Therefore, until such time as the status of that EO changes they are here legally. You're trying to have it both ways in order to justify using bigoted terms.

Do you think having a piece of paper makes a whole lot of difference in their character? How many times have we seen mass shootings perpetrated by "law abiding" gun owners?

I think if we managed to elimate all illegal immigrants from this country people would just find some other excuse to direct their fear and hatred towards the documented ones.

No, they have never been here legally. NEVER. The Obama Administration just decided to not arrest and deport them but they have never been here legally. They are ILLEGALS. I put Americans before ILLEGALS every time. You don't like the term ILLEGAL? Then tell them to go the hell back to whatever country they came from, and come here legally.

Yes. Coming here legally versus illegally does say a lot about their character. If they are willing to violate our laws to come here, what other laws will they break? I do not like scofflaws.

tell DACA participant who were born in this country, or grew up here, contributed to this country, love this country, aren't engaging in criminal activities, who have done everything they were asked, some of whom are proudly serving , and dying, for this country, to "go back to the country they came from"? You're the one with the problem with them. So you tell them that. Oh and btw, you aren't putting American's before "illegals". You're putting the worst that America has to offer before them. Namely, bigotry and racism. Thankfully, your hard line views are in the minority and THEY DON'T REPRESENT AMERICA.

Newsflash for you! There are no DACA participants that were born in this country. Talk about an ignorant post. If they were born in this country, we have another name for them. US Citizen. My views? I believe that DACA should be passed as part of a border security and visa reform. I do not support deporting DACA participants. BUT it needs to be done by the legislative branch, not the executive branch.
