    It never was.

I just figured you didn't know exactly what the libertarian party is about, as most people who join them do not. People like Paul Ryan or the Paul's who express a fondness for the party have no idea what they actually stand for.

There is nothing wrong with them if that's what you like but I just like to point out stuff. There is a lot to like about them actually but know that ultimately it's unworkable and will go nowhere the same as anarchism or any of the other more fringe theories that exist.

You need to understand when to shut your mouth and to fuck off.

When I state libertarianism I am going by the ideology defined by Robert Nozick in Anarchy, State and Utopia which was heavily influenced by the great thinkers such as Immanuel Kant and John Locke. It defined modern day libertarianism and set the standards for it but eventually even Nozick had to walk away from his theory as it simply proved unrealistic in the practical world.

    You're thinking of Anarcho-Capitalism.

I've always voted my conscience...registered "unaffiliated" for over 40 years.

I've registered with and paid my dues to the Libertarian Party. From now on, I'll vote my conscience, not some flawed popular party.

Either Bourne is having a bad day or she doesn't quite understand what a libertarian is about.

So, you're talking about the philosophy and not the party? Now I see how you got so confused.
