Really? You can't access the Constitution? Okay...

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government,..." (Article 4 Section 4 of the Constitution, in part.) Now check this out:

if you don't mind, would you please describe what you consider a socialist country? I'm not aware of any working socialist countries in the world.
    Thanks from Thx1138 and Minotaur

The electoral college makes the formation of a viable third party highly unlikely.

The people who formed and operate the other 36 parties, and their ideology and policy proposals are what makes them nonviable.

Against abortion - except on medical reasons and some few exceptions. For sure not on social reasons. Priority has the life of the mother.

    Guns?
Against guns. Change the american constitution in this case. There's never peace in a country, which would need a war weapon control law because of the weapons of the own citizens.

    Universal healthcare?
Health is a kind of human right. Health has to be independent from the income of the people who need health. Solidarity is the only solution in this case: Better to pay a doctor and never to need a doctor.

Do you see how quickly it becomes like the two major parties?
In which political party would I be, if I would be an US-American?

sorry to tell you - you don't seem to fit any party in the U.S. for your views to be represented, it won't fit in either of the two major parties - and for views to be heard, those are your choices. unfortunate, isn't it?

A successful third party will bring a platform of solutions to the table.
The problem isn't third parties it's that our system from top to bottom is designed to support a two party system. Jamaica is the only other nation with our system.

To get different representation you would need to go to a parliamentary system of government which would require one massive rewrite of the constitution.

The founders designed our system so that power shifts back and forth, never accumulating too long with one faction, this is why our nomination and appointment system is set up the way it is, why we have winner take all elections, why we have the electoral college.....tons of other stuff.

There is simply no way possible that our system can support more than two parties.
