Here's a fight I've often had with a strongly pro-anarchy guy. Change the OP to a challenge about a successful anarchist state and you won't find an answer there either. How do you get a consensus from any more than a large family or small tribe? You don't without some equivalent of a government with teeth.

Finally, a statement that doesn't need the sarcasm label. (I hope.)

And mainstream has all the answers. Right? Is that why you have a national debt of ... what??? Twenty five TRILLION dollars?

No hence why I used the term "a bit." But there are pockets here where those things exist.

Libertarianism is a theory, it's not practical and no, it has never existed in society.

    Only aspects of it have.

Think of it as Plato's "Just City". That has also never existed but it's used to model actual working systems, a blueprint if you will.

Bingo! It will ultimately fail as an experiment owing to greed and selfishness. Communes have experimented with the concept, but they always fall apart with intense animosity.

Why do you think libertarians are "me-first me-only assholes"?

Because they think that government is not the answer to all of society's woes?

You think greed and selfishness is exclusively a bad thing? How do you think Capitalism works. People work to better themselves through mutually beneficial agreements.
