You may not have noticed but most have seen the data and have abandoned the argument that it isn't possible. But you are a special case. You do not get that it is possible due to rounding and the number of states that Trump won versus the number of states that Clinton won. You can have incredible turn out in certain states, like California but you still get the same number of electoral votes, 55. That doesn't change because you had incredible turn out.

Do this simple math. If Hillary had 8,753,788 in California and Donald had 4,483,810... How many electoral votes does Hillary get? 55. Now if Hillary had 4,483,811 votes in California and Donald had 4,483,810... How many electoral votes does Hillary get? Oh! Right, 55. Hillary won California and New York with huge popular vote margins. Millions. That didn't change the number of electoral votes the state had.

I did get the numbers from Politico which is probably not the best source but I wasn't willing to poll all the Secretary of State's websites to find the certified numbers. Now are you smart enough to see that it is possible?

The President should be elected nationally, from the popular vote, using ranked choice voting.

Neat idea. Of course, that isn't how our founding fathers set it up. I understand that you all are unable to win so you want the rules changed, now.

No, our Founders set it up to protect the interests of slave states, making slaves non-voting 3/5ths of a person. Our Founders didn't let women vote, or non-landowning men in many cases. They made sure the president was elected from one party and the VP from another. In fact, our Founders anticipated that we wouldn't really have political parties, which they despised (even though they disagreed so much about basic elements of governance that they had to develop political parties after the fact).

You think Dems can't win the EC? Not very well-informed, are you?

The People should rightfully elect their President.

No person should have their vote count for more because they live in a sparsely populated area. One person, one vote.

I've never been a fan of the EC. It's an undemocratic, archaic, anti-proletarian institution set up by, and for the aristocracy.

    Same goes for the Senate.

Change is particularly difficult when the benefit is one sided.

    Really?

I hope you guys realize you are only parroting a Alt Left Universe wet dream.

There will never be enough votes to change the 12th Amendment to the US Constitution.

Just another reason for you guys to hate on the US Constitution.

Sorry. not going to happen. More than the hive-minded morons and free lunch seeking thieves who flock to a few dysfunctional, crime infested, bankrupt urban shitholes deserve a voice in the direction of a nation.
