    Sorta agree...but...

You want to know what is REALLY "pie in the sky"?

Getting the two parties to "work for us."

THAT is pie in the sky.

Getting themselves re-elected, and beating up on the other party is their priority.

Power and money and money and power are what they care about.

Serving the American people is way, WAY down the list of their priorities.
    Thanks from Jets

    Mr. Swimmer,

California now has open primaries. What that mean is, except for national elections, only the top two vote getters in the primaries for state offices advance to the general election. It defacto means "third party candidates need not apply."

Oh, I see. Your statement was bullshit. Got it.

Instead of the D's and R's spending all their time and energy beating up on each other, maybe there would be a party working FOR something rather than just trying to keep themselves in power.

Because that's what the D's and R's do: try to stay in office/power by any means necessary.
I don't see why a third party wouldn't also try and stay in power by any means necessary.

    Mr. Swimmer,

Oh, I see, you couldn't counter what I said, so as typical, you just dismissed it.

    Eventually, they probably would.

They would have to catch up with the scumbaggery and corruption of the two big parties, though.

Those would be good times...before they completely sold out like the Dems and Repubs have...
