I support gay rights and the reproductive rights of women. I do not support the demands of the religious right.
You and I think very much alike. That post summed up the majority of my politics.

The problem is actually fiscal conservatism. US social programs are designed to be 'efficient', rather than 'effective'. Countries with more generous systems, focused on effectiveness of poverty alleviation, do much better (and then also encourage entrepreneurial behaviour).

Oh yes, all of science, all media, every university, every major city, every education center, every cultural center is liberally biased. Only Fox news is not. Talk about hilarious.

Then why is academia, science, education, geared toward learning and teaching facts, all supposedly "liberally biased" if reality wasn't liberally biased?

Laughable coming from people that tend to ignore all the science on climate change. Now you find one shitty study and that's all you need for so called "facts". And as per usual, you can't make any arguments other than deflect and personally attack, basically supporting that I'm right

I linked both the research and that commentary, and you can keep saying the commentary was bullshit, but it is a lot better articulated than anything you've said so far.

You didn't identify a single inaccuracy. You just whined and protested and flung baseless blame on Republicans. The topic isn't even about Republicans.

Sometimes, but not exclusively. Social sciences don't merely "teach facts," they also promote politically motivated conceptual frameworks that skew research toward supporting their political biases.

They are liberally biased according to research that has examined their political biases.

Yet you apparently don't like the fact that social science departments throughout American academia are extremely leftist and subjectively biased. I can sense you are attempting to arbitrarily characterize academic leftwing bias as if it were a set of facts. That would be ill-advised, as it's not an argument you have any hope of winning.

Which in this case revealed moderates and conservatives were better predictors of liberals' answers to questions than vice versa.
Oh look, how typical, more deflections and more repeating the same so called "facts" which are not with nothing to back it up. THat's most conservatives entire message board game. Ironic, there just was a thread about this and here you are proving the point I made in it

That does find an intelligence effect: "Starting from the top, academics are 36 percentage-points more likely than the general population to identify as liberal, and 44% of this gap (16 percentage-points) can be explained by intelligence"
That's because conservatives tend not to seek out jobs in academia. They focus more on getting an MBA for example than a PHd.

So I'm not quite sure how academia is going to "change" when conservative's don't seem that interested in teaching college classes.

You still aren't arguing facts. You're describing a delusion. Your argument is literally, "We're right and you're not."
Then again, I don't expect much from someone who thinks that screeching "deflection!" is debating.
