OK then name a few of those hundreds of colleges that had similar violent and intolerant responses to liberal speakers.

And yet, conservatives on this forum seem to be particularly bad at guessing liberal responses. I suppose that makes PH conservatives uniquely bad at mind reading.

Please don't confuse liberals with anarchists.

According to conservatives, liberals love big government, and anarchists are the guys that want to do away with government.

looks like the researcher has got it wrong in this instance.

OK then which liberal speakers did the anarchists have similar violent and intolerant responses to?

So what? Why are you crying foul over this? I included both.

Yeah we know. It's right there in post #1.

It's not suspicion, it's very clear and objectively substantiated that social sciences at American universities are overwhelming liberal and partisan.

I don't understand why liberals seem to simultaneously deny this outright while also apparently taking great pride in it. What's that about?

Which is according to your opinion rather than a study.

Most Republicans see U.S. colleges as too 'liberal and political' | Campus Beat News for College Students | USA TODAY College

But the question remains, why are the best Colleges Liberal? Is it because they open the minds of young people to the latest, more intelligent ideas?

    Not closed,denying Science,regressive ideas.

    Think about that.

Not just the best colleges. Almost all colleges. An adequate answer to this would be very long.

Is it because they open the minds of young people to the latest, more intelligent ideas?
    Not really.

    Not closed,denying Science,regressive ideas.
That however is a factor. The GOP's decades-long pandering to religion has not helped create or maintain a conservative presence in academia, because conservatism becomes associated with anti-scientific inquiry.

However that doesn't excuse radical partisanship bordering on indoctrination like we see in the social sciences and humanities.
