He isn't. But it shows the Trump supporters, "the left" is out to get him at all costs throwing their money around. It shows what the right wing has been telling middle America about the left since last summer, that they are all coastal, rich elitists who will do nothing to stop Trump. Even though Trump is all of those things as well..

Maddow has been making a pretty good case on Pence being complicit in all of Trump's Russian dealings. It's likely that if Trump goes he'll either go too or be top damaged to get anything done. My bet is that the Dems would be more willing to compromise on a Ryan presidency than Pence. That guy is a fruitcake. Although, yes, he's no where near as bad as Trump. I also think Republican's secretly are wishing they could throw Trump out on his ass.

    IMO

That's just it, we don't know if 2016 was a fluke or the new norm. It keeps the GOP up at night constantly worrying over whether the Trump supporters will come out in droves or stay home.

I think its unlikely Mueller would get Pence as well. Pence was still in Indiana being governor when the allegations of meeting Russian lawyers and meetings in Trump Tower were going on. I suppose its possible but I think Pence was deliberately chosen to be the dunce completely unaware of anything but there to bring in the evangelicals for Trump.

good point. Wonder if we'll know by the time Mueller comes out with his findings? If he pulls a "Comey" and does it just in time for the midterm, especially.

I think that's why dems need to come out and run on something big. Or be positive. Just in case Mueller comes back with nothing other than a Flynn or Manafort indictment. If Trump is cleared its going to give him a super boost. My dem rep for example is running on helping to bring new jobs to the state and has a very positive website. If she is asked about Trump, she declines.

ah, but you forget. Mueller was appointed in response to Comey being fired. Pence went along with the lie that he was fired because of the recommendations of the AG. What's more is Pence led the transition team. He was warned about Flynn in that capacity. As well as being aware of the warnings from Sally Yates. Pence was also a part of the campaign when Don Jr. met with the Russians. He claims he knew nothing about it. But, like I say, he's been proven to be a liar more than a time or two.
