These kinds of inconsistencies in coverage are not lost on the Trump voters, so they assume it's all bias and distortions.
Well... That, and the fact that they're all about as dumb as a box of rocks.

They've proved the media correct by their "defiance", buying a pig in a poke. When the poke had "PIG" writ large all over it.

It's a similar story with Brexit, down to the Russian trolls egging on peoples' anger and distrust of their government.

The OP is about the media, not an explanation of the entire election. My comments are focused on abstract comparisons based on imagery and loose collections of facts and rumors.

Perhaps you think that Trump is a serial abuser of women?

The topic is comparing serial abusers, Weinstein is losing out to Trump. Attempt to divert as you may.

No it isn't about the media and during the election the media warned the country repeatedly that trump was a buffoon. A dozen other republican candidates in the republican primary claimed he was a moron and unfit for office. You can't blame the media for the asshole your party put in the oval office.

Abstract. Yes, that is a good description of all your posts.

Perhaps you think that Trump is a serial abuser of women?
That would only be if you believe the 15 or so who claimed abuse and what he personally said about women and how he treats them.

Ignoring evidence. Sounds like the Flat Earth Society.

Some people are ignorant enough to think Bill Clinton was on the ballot?

Lots of Trump voters couldn't spot a distortion if it hit them square in the forehead. Republican politics wouldn't survive scrutiny for its rampant distortions.

Keep on talking about abstractions. That way you can say anything you want without fear of effective contradiction. Ever wonder why there are so many sects of religion in the world, and all of them are believed by someone? Abstractions aren't much the subject of practical debate, so they make a perfect vehicle for people who want to believe whatever pleases them.
