What do you know - or like to think - about all the reasons of all this people who you call fascists, because they are Christians? It's by the way indeed impossible to be a Nazi and a Christian - this excludes each other. But it is perhaps possible to be a fascist and a Christian. This I don't know. I know not a lot about fascism. I know only the Nazism - what people are calling "fascism" I never understood. "Fasces" are often a symbol in the USA too.

My mother for example was betrothed in world war 2. So she thought it's a good idea to visit her fiancé at the eastern front. The problem was the food for the journey. It was war - no one had enough to eat. Fortunately the plums were ripe. She baked some big baking tins plum pie. Problem solved. She sold a train ticket and was on her way to a little town in the East of Poland, where her fiancé was commandeered to stay. When she arrived she found out it was the wrong town. Another town - the right one - with the same name, was a few hundred miles far on another position of the front. The Wehrmacht (=army) transported her along the front line - what's a little funny because she was not an Aryan but a Jew in the definition of the Nazis. No one asked or cared about. When she arrived the soldiers gave a ball. It was a very nice dancing event. Unfortunately she found out that her betrothed had betrayed her with not only one Polish girl. That's why her ex-fiancé is not my father. ... More correct: She left this stupid front angry and later she had decided to forgive him if he asks her, but when he came back from the war and asked her, she had met my father some days before. My father had helped her lot - and when she spoke about him I knew she still loves him.

As well US-Americans and Germans were often not very motivated to shoot at each other. I know from German soldiers who said "The Americans make only war along the highways". They often watched them like Red Indians are doing. I guess the most US-Americans never understood how near their death was sometimes and decided not to kill them.

He liberated concentration camps in Germany? Which one? Emslandlager? Bergen-Belsen? Buchenwald? Flossenbürg? Dachau? Neuengamme? Niederhagen / Wewelsburg? Ravensbrück? Sachsenhausen?

None so blind as those who can not see! My Dad was fighting a war to save the German people. I was afraid he would die there!

My experience tells me who is using pathos knows not what he is speaking about.

From Germany? Why? That was a waste of fear. We are normally nice and friendly people.

Your ignorance in this post is unbelievable. My Dad was there fighting for the Germans against the Nazis.

I am white and if I would be an US-American then I would be an american patriot. Because I'm a Bavarian, I'm a white-blue patriot (white-blue are the colors of the sky) - and a conservative white-blue Bavarian patriot is also often called "a Black" here, because the color of the Christian conservatives here in Germany is black (Political parties: CDU and CSU). When the Nazis spoke about "Blacks", who they like to beat down until they are only pulp any longer, then they spoke in most cases about the black clothed clerics of the churches which they hated as the devil hates holy water.

Whatever. I'm able to identify a German Nazi speaking only some words. For example speaking the words "Christian" or "god" scornful. That's why ignorance, arrogance and aggressions in discussions don't impress me.

This was not the view of the most Germans in this time of history nor the view of the US-american soldiers of this time of history nor fits this with this what I find out about the English speaking world, which still reduces Germany to a part of the history of the years 1933-1945 and Germans to Nazis. The US-American soldiers had the order to kill as many Germans as possible and it was forbidden to fraternize. The allies bombed everything down, raped everywhere women and murdered lots of people. Even after the end of world war 2 they had sent hundred thousands of children into the mines of Stalin.

Funny thing, the 18 year old actually stayed with Germans after the Liberation. They were so happy they shared what little they had with the Americans, homes, food, anything they had. And they had very little.

They were there to fight Nazis, not Germans.

    Again: Christians don't burn crosses.

You wouldn't know them. Our civil war was about twenty years before yours was.
I don't remember any civil war in the German history. The USA (Unionists) had by the way in the war 1861-1865 2.8 million soldiers - so it was no wonder that the CSA (Confederates) lost. They had only a million soldiers. About 200,000 of them died. But on the other side they killed 360,000 soldiers of the Unionists. So 1/2 of the number of soldiers of the confederates killed nearly twice as many enemies. The soldiers of the CSA were much more (4 times) more convinced. Now let me see what had happened 20 years later in Germany ... 1880 the Cathedral of Cologne is ready (still the biggest building of the world built in traditional methods). We needed only 600 years to build this Cathedral. ... The Prussians made still the culture fight against Catholics which I could call "the war of lies" ... The next war will be the first world war 1914 - and the last war was the war against France 1870/71, when the Prussian king became emperor over Germany. Two disasters.
