You don't understand that free people have the freedom to petition the government for redress of grievances?

    I guess that's not surprising.

When I was a youngster, not yet a teenager, I can remember the election campaign of President Kennedy. A line I always will remember is: it's time to pass the torch to a new generation. Perhaps, I was in that generation, the generation of the 60s. So now I am a seasoned citizen and my life fundamentally is set, looking forward to a retirement for which I have prepared my entire professional life. While I am still concerned about current issues, I understand that I am not impacted as are the Millennials. Accordingly, a part of me accepts and understands that the torch should be passed to the new and younger generations. I understand that current times are tougher for them over my experience and, on some level, can understand their desire for more government dependence in their lives to ease the burden. My advice to them--be careful for what you ask, you might just get it.

The David Hoggs and Emma Gonzales' aren't even doing that much. They might go on Ellen or CNN and call people who disagree with them tantamount to murderers. But it was people like Kyle Kaschuv and Patrick Petty who spoke to lawmakers on both sides, lobbied, and helped get the Stop School Violence Act passed. Time Magazine didn't put Kyle or Patrick on the cover though.

Right ... half the country is fucked up because those people do not buy what you are selling.

It's not an iron god. It's a paper one and we call it the Constitution.

But they forgot what adults always forget: that our children grow up, and remember everything, and forgive nothing.

Those kids have suddenly understood how little their lives were ever worth to the people in power. And theyíll soon begin to realize how efficient and endless are the mechanisms of governance intended to deflect their appeals, exhaust their energy, deplete their passion and defeat them. But anyone who has ever tried to argue with adolescents knows that in the end they will have a thousand times more energy for that fight than you and a bottomless reservoir of moral rage that you burned out long ago.

As usual you are on the wrong side of an issue. As far as what those kids think try the tide pods they endorse and get back to us.
