But they forgot what adults always forget: that our children grow up, and remember everything, and forgive nothing.

Those kids have suddenly understood how little their lives were ever worth to the people in power. And theyíll soon begin to realize how efficient and endless are the mechanisms of governance intended to deflect their appeals, exhaust their energy, deplete their passion and defeat them. But anyone who has ever tried to argue with adolescents knows that in the end they will have a thousand times more energy for that fight than you and a bottomless reservoir of moral rage that you burned out long ago.

So let me get this straight. Their lives mean nothing to the people in power but they think everyone should disarm and put our safety in the hands of those same people in power? Exactly what happened in Parkland, Florida that gave them this faith in the ability of the government to protect them?

America keeps proving they will vote for the face and not the substance. It doesn’t matter to Americans if you know the policy issues and are a doer. They continue voting for the person that makes the biggest splash in media.

I am on the right side of the issue. The argument that half the country is childish because they do not agree with you on something is itself childish and self-centered, and possibly a sign of a personality disorder. You clearly have those things, but fortunately most people who are not extremists do not. YOU need to grow up and get over yourself, as does the individual to whom I was responding.

Some of us have taken to calling it freedumb. Americans have the God-given right to be as dumb as rocks and, by golly, millions of them are exercising it.

And with untrammeled glee, as far as I can tell.

Millennials can think whatever they like. But they’re flocking to big cities. Millions of them.

Which means they’ll always be outvoted by boomers in the boonies.
