The Republican war on consumers. It's real, and Democrats must campaign against it this fall.
    By Ian Reifowitz

"Let’s go a bit broader. Have you ever bought anything from a company and had to sign away your right to seek justice in court if the company committed negligence or fraud? Or have you ever had a bank account or a credit card? In other words, are you a middle- or working-class consumer struggling to get by?"
"If you answered yes to any of these questions, then one thing you need to know is that Donald Trump did not become president to help you. Forget what he says. Look at what his Administration and his Republican allies in Congress are doing. For starters, Trump and his lackey Mick Mulvaney are gutting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the one part of the federal government set up to protect you, the consumer, from being abused by the financial industry. Trump and the Republican Party are engaged in a multi-front war on consumers."
"We can and must make our best effort to convince a chunk of those Trump supporters—in particular those who had previously voted for Barack Obama—who in 2016 may have voted primarily on the basis of their white racial interests and identity to remember that they have another identity, and other interests as well, ones that center on their wallets. Republicans have waged a political war against those interests. Democrats, on the other hand, have fought for them."

Again, this is a great Wake-Up Call! Republicans are not on the side of the Middle Class, the Poor, the Elderly, the Sick, the Disabled, Women, Minorities or anyone other than their rich elite constituents. They are fighting tooth and nail to keep you down where you are while they try to remain king of the hill. That is not the America that you deserve to be facing. That is a horror story! That is just one more good reason to support Democrats this November to assure that what you are rightfully entitled to is fought for by Democrats and protected since Republicans will not lift a finger to help you.

People who are poor, sick, women, minorities, elderly, middle class and disabled vote Republican.

How do think Republicans win elections? White men only?

I rather doubt that. If they did they would be shooting themselves in the foot. Republicans win elections because of the unfair media giving an unfair advantage to Republicans with massive air time coverage as what happened in the last election of 2016 where Trump received incredible media coverage and Hillary Clinton next to none. That's how Republicans win elections if you really want to know.

No lie. That's just the way it is. But just as you, I don't care about your lying opinions either or those of your ilk.

Yes, it's inevitable that both major parties will poll at least a small portion of poor, sick, women, minorities, and the disabled. But the fact that Republicans can get 10% of the black vote pretty much any time proves....what?

That does seem to be their plan. The big tell here is that they are trying to disenfranchise the poor, sick, minorities, elderly, and disabled. These are precisely the groups who are least likely to have the photo ID Republicans want to require of every voter.

The usual class warfare of the rich against everyone else and now they're planning on destroying what's left of us if they keep control of Congress next November. SS, Medicare and education cuts to practically nothing to pay for the huge giveaways to the rich.........and cheered on here by a number of dummies.
