have you noticed a change in racial attitudes since trump?

purely anecdotal. Have you noticed a change in the racial attitudes of people you know since Trump got elected: For instance, more of a willingness to indulge what was, before Trump, considered unacceptable behavior, or language? Or, it doesn't even have to be people you know personally. How about with people in general? Anything at all to report?

Would it be fair to say Obama caused a widening in race relations in America and is this a poll to see if people perceive things have got better under Trump?

I've noticed that gun sales are down among those who fear "the coming race war".

    Short answer NO.

What is happening is that trump won because people were hungry for plain talk. He gave it to people in his campaign. The point is not that attitudes have changed or beliefs have changed but that yes people are no longer as afraid to express themselves and speak their minds. The point is actually that there should be NO fear of expressing oneself.

For years the wanna be tyrants of the left wing have made is socially unacceptable to speak ones mind. Americans however reject this notion as a violation of the idea and principle of freedom of speech which is not limited to the first amendment.

What people refer to as racist or sexist speech or any other derisive term is in fact most often just honest opinion which is not the least bit racist or sexist but is deliberately labeled as such by left wing cowards in order to silence dissent.

It is the push back against this stupidity which you are seeing.

Yes,it was quite obvious the racial hate became worse under Obama.

The irony is he is a brilliant, well aducated, versed in Constitutional law. And a really good President.

This brought out the animosity of the bigoted, not well educated whose resentment that a black could be so good and popular.

This is why we have the racist, ignorant thing we have in the WH now. He knew just how to feed that anger and hate.

The Republican Congress is the same.

Yes,they have that one black man from SC who simply sold his soul for a moment of fame and wealth.

    What a load of bull.

Trump fed on anger and hate. His every rally was full of it,with platitudes thrown in to feed the ignorant.
