It's an industry. Diversity is so awesome you have to hire consultants to instruct people on how to force it to work.

You are correct. I remember taking a graduate course and the professor was a black guy and he was very angry because he was kicked off the faculty elevator. He talk to me about it and I told him that perhaps if he wasn’t wearing an open shirt and a gold chain He wouldn’t have had that experience. Most of the faculty at that time was suits and he looks like a kid. He sought as racist and I didn’t. But you are right if the videographer was all tattooed with the long hair I wonder if he would have let him in and I also wonder if he were black and very “clean-cut looking” he might have let him in also.

Yep..I’m going to be out of work, because there’s no racism anymore....lol By the way my workshops include all the isms. Like class, education, disabilities, ageism , sexism, nationality etc. Perhaps working with people who are victimized I see the world through different eyes. You see racism is something that doesn’t hardly exist.

I told him to put the desk receptionist on the phone and I told her it’s ok to give him the key to my room. I've notice that I get away with all sorts of stuff because of some combination of being white, middle-aged, articulate, etc. For example, I once talked my way into a major sporting event by explaining, honestly, that I'd lost my ticket and that my family was waiting for me inside. They just believed me. Another time I was pulled over by a police officer and he asked me if I knew why I'd been pulled over. I answered that I'd probably been speeding a bit. He confirmed that, and pointed out that I also had a tail light out, my inspection sticker was lapsed, and I had a cover on my license plate, which wasn't allowed in the state. He also pointed out it was the second time I'd been pulled over for speeding on that same road in the last month. Then he let me off with a warning. I can't imagine that would have been the likely outcome for most people.

    Mr. Thor,

At least you get 8 hours away from your desk to do crosswords and read.

Oh yes men are so victimized for their gender. No one knows you’re a pagan unless you tell them and people who don’t function as normal are often prejudged. But black people and women don’t have the advantage of changing the color or gender...white males are privileged

    Mr. Thor,

And from the Harvard Business Journal, they don't work....

I tend to disagree. 1. it provides legal cover your ass for the company, and 2) it provides a cottage industry teaching the classes for people with little or not marketable skills.

Diversity and racism are different things. Diversity is the new corporate religion. It carries many of the same characteristics of affirmative action.

What are the racial components of chemistry, physics, mathematics, engineering?

It's a popular scam so I doubt she is telling them anything they don't already know.

This exact thing actually happened to a friend of mine who was visiting from France when her hotel room got robbed.

    So it happens.

Now what on earth this has to do with "white privilege" is anyone's guess. This has to be one of the most lamest examples of supposed racism I have ever seen.
