I'm defending cats, you are defending dogs, which from the global warming folks perspective are as bad for the environment as cats are.

Cats are devastating to wildlife and a major cause for the elimination of a wild bobwhite quail population where I live.

I am not 'defending' dogs; I am saying that cats, overall, are MUCH worse for the environment than dogs. And I have DOCUMENTED this.

P.S. There were a lot of bobwhite quails in Iowa, where I grew up. Amusingly, I once met a person who refused to believe me when I told him that bobwhites were called that because their typical 'sound' makes it sound like they are saying 'bob white'.

    Logic, you know.
Bella is not allowed outside alone, and she has a bell on her collar. She has never caught anything.

I wish I could change her cat litter, but she is not flexible.

LOL. I lost all my bathroom rugs to litter wars. I was dead-set on this World's Best or I would have given in. you're supposed to mix it. She'd tolerate up to about 90% new kind and then crap on the rug to share her feelings of displeasure with me. I won, but the rugs didn't make it through that many times in the w/d .....
