    Talk about false!

In Inventing the Flat Earth: Columbus and Modern Historians, Jeffrey Russell describes the Flat Earth theory as a fable used to impugn pre-modern civilization and creationism.

    James Hannam wrote:

The myth that people in the Middle Ages thought the Earth is flat appears to date from the 17th century as part of the campaign by Protestants against Catholic teaching. But it gained currency in the 19th century, thanks to inaccurate histories such as John William Draper's History of the Conflict Between Religion and Science (1874) and Andrew Dickson White's A History of the Warfare of Science with Theology in Christendom (1896). Atheists and agnostics championed the conflict thesis for their own purposes, but historical research gradually demonstrated that Draper and White had propagated more fantasy than fact in their efforts to prove that science and religion are locked in eternal conflict.

LOL, this is so incredibly stupid, what a joke you are. Evolution is the one of the most supported theories known to man, and supported by nearly all sects of science. Phystics, archeology, biology, genetics, every one supports evolution

And science is proven to be true, you know how? All the technology we have that works, and we know it works because we use it all the time. These are all based on scientific discoveries. If science didn't work, these would not work

Oh, and if evolution isn't true, there would not be this constant battle of finding new antibiotics and vaccines to fight bacteria and viruses. We would only need one antibiotic, one vaccine. But as we know is 100% factual, bacteria evolve to become antibiotic resistant, where they survive because they mutate what the antibiotic targets in the bacteria, so it no longer kills them. Or we constantly have to get new vaccines each year to the strains most likely to be prevalent.

What, you think god keeps creating all these antibiotic strains to kill people?

Yeah, those streaming across the southern border are a bunch of Einsteins. LOL

Fact is we should select only the best and brightest as legal immigrants. But ~1 million legals and the same illegals every year says you merely used that line as a toss away. FAIL.

We spend more on education then the rest of the world, or nearly so. It is the unions control of education, plus the massive increase in administrators the past several decades that eat that money up. Plus Progressives are more interested in all the LGBQTXYZ nonsense than hard sciences and math.

You do what most do, confusing evolution with adapting. And evolution is an unnecessary waste of time as a teaching matter in K-12. But it is a religion among Progressives types.

No, it doesn't. The genetic difference between humans and chimps is about 2%.
and I can see that "that", meaning facts and observations and such, doesn't answer anything for you. What you're doing here is illustrating that the Tyson is correct.

Yeah but chimps have 48 chromosomes so if all apes are descended why don't we?

Probably because of a genetic mutation that happened million or so years ago.
    How many did Australopithecus have?

You're the science guy but I'm thinking that's a pretty big mutation. Seems like there would have been a lot of talk about that. Still ruling out intervention?

Anything is possible I suppose. But a scientific answer would be preferable.
