Starting with an EEG machine and see how long the brain waves continue after 'time of death' stamp.
Well, in the very first account on that vid I posted no one will probably watch, there was a woman having a difficult surgery with a cerebral aneurism, the blood was drained from her brain, her body temp was cooled down to 58 degrees F, the heart stops, there is no signal on the EEG...

And, in this she meets all of the criteria of physical death.

But it really goes beyond that, there are accounts of people who met long deceased relatives, who remotely viewed loved ones across country, etc.

    Thx

No, that's not death. Cooling the body was an intentionally initiated instance of suspended animation. It can't be maintained indefinitely.

There are also accounts of people being abducted by aliens.

The doctor said it was death.

    Thx

Well, certainly there are crazy people who are going to make claims.

And those don't bother me so much, it's the ones who "will not consider" an alternative, yet they want to make it sound like they have it all figured out...

She sure fooled the doctors, they said she was clinically dead.

(And let me take a wild guess here, you didn't watch the vid, correct?)

And probably just "won't" watch it either...

    Thx

Despite your appeal to YouTube authority, I maintain my position that no living person has ever been dead. Many have returned from near death experiences, but none have returned from death.

Well, what do you offer for "proof" some link to a crazy candidate?

Was the doctor in the vid (you didn't watch) a fake?

Have you found a site that debunks this video?

What we have left here is your own personal unqualified opinion... no more or less than anyone else.

    Thx

Don't get me wrong. I'm not asserting that life does not continue after death. Perhaps it does.

I'm just saying that near death is not death. It isn't, or people who have been dead for extended periods of time could be revived. None ever has been.

You're free to believe anything that you like. I'm free to disagree with your beliefs.

BTW: It's true that the absence of brain activity meets the legal requirement for declaring death, but legal declaration of death is arbitrary at the very moment when death occurs. Death is a process, but after it is complete, no animals, including human beings, return to life.
