Sounds like every other security IT position at any software/data company.

Its a bit more encompassing than just a security gig.

It sounds like a hell of an extremely kushy job however.

Wake up at 5 a.m., scan the news and get a few topics that are relevant to your companies operations, do some more detailed research on those threats for about half an hour, type up a report and deliver it to your boss.

Go get some breakfast, wait for the meeting and the easy questions, go to lunch than go home.

If my job wasn't so easy I would probably be doing something like that, probably doesn't pay much however since it only requires a bachelor's degree.

This job duty sounds rather serious:

∑ Actively monitor travel safety and security of employees on a global, 24/7 basis. Actively monitor travel of Leadership team and threats to their safety.

The job description evoked images from Homeland and Mr. Robot.

LOL, that entails calling up the State Department to get any travel advisories.

Then contacting the teams at their hotel to see how they are doing.

"Um guys......yeah, just got the weather report and there's a hurricane heading your way in about a week, might want to book your flights out before then."
